SpaceX Supplier/Contractor Policy
SpaceX adheres to the same zero-tolerance policy regarding human trafficking as the U.S. Government. The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB 657) requires retailers and manufacturers doing business in California, like SpaceX, to disclose on their websites the efforts they take to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their direct supply chains. SB 657 requires disclosures regarding verification, auditing, certification, internal accountability and training.
SpaceX believes that the nature of the business in which SpaceX engages and the regulatory environment in which we operate both mitigate the risk of human trafficking and slavery within our direct supplier base. In keeping with our commitment to ethics and integrity, SpaceX also maintains supply chain programs, practices and procedures with the goal of ensuring that our suppliers meet our strong ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations, which include those governing human trafficking and forced labor.
SpaceX generally reserves the right to audit its suppliers. SpaceX has not engaged third parties to conduct audits, which are typically announced prior to being conducted.
SpaceX’s standard terms and conditions require compliance with all applicable laws, including laws against slavery or human trafficking.
SpaceX requires all employees and contractors to comply with SpaceX’s policy against trafficking in persons.
SpaceX provides managers and employees who have direct responsibility for supply chain management with information regarding SpaceX’s policies against slavery and human trafficking.
